*Mew playfully dodged the attack, then flew straight at the small cat Pokemon. When he got really close he swung around, hitting Skitty forcefully with his long tail, using whiplash.*

(Oops, my bad. Sorry. >.<)
Skitty came out unhurt; she had used Protect to block the attack. While Mew was still close, however, she went on the offensive once more and used Attract.

*Mew had its back to Skitty from using whiplash, and didn't get effected by it. He floated a few feet away and sent a psybeam at Skitty.*

Skitty got hit, but it wasn't a direct hit so she still had some fight left in her. Charging forward, she gathered her energy and rushed at Mew with a Double-Edge attack.

Skitty was struck hard by the Counter attack. She fell back, defeated. A few moments later she slowly stood and turned around, about to walk back into the forest.

Skitty looked up at Mew and said, ~I don't really know... it's been happening a lot recently. Sometimes I just feel the fire in me and want to go all out in battle against any opponent. I've battled a lot of wild Pokemon, but they haven't been enough, so I'm always on the search for stronger opponents. That's why I attacked that before, because I know that Trainers can have Pokemon that are stronger than wild ones. But you're stronger than any Pokemon I've ever seen before! I guess you can say I'm just really enthusiastic about battling, hehe.." Skitty gave a little laugh and smiled as well.

~No, not really. I was just watching some of the other Skitty in my family battling some intruding Zigzagoon and Sentret, and then I started wanting to battle all the time...~

~No, nothing at all. Life was just as it has always been. Living with my family, and wandering out into the forest looking for food or just going for a little walk with a friend..~
