Mew: I will get some fire wood!
*She went away and came back a few minutes later with a good bit of fire wood held in the air by psychic. She put it down in a pile. While Mew was gone Sasha cleared an area and made a fire circle.*

"Hey, thanks," Lindsey said appreciatively. She supposed that she ought to let Slugma out again; he'd be able to light a fire easily, of course. As she thought about it, she realized that she probably ought to let her new pidgey out, too, and heal her.
"Come on out," she called, tossing her two pokéballs to the earth. After a moment of rapping orders, Slugma set about lighting a fire, while Lindsey tended to Pidgey with a potion.

Continously swishing its tail through the air, the hidden Pokemon crouched lower to the ground, waiting now for the right second.
Suddenly and without warning, the Pokemon leapt out of the bush, knocking directly into Lindsey, pushing her forward. Bouncing off of her back, it landed on the ground in battle position, glaring at Lindsey.
It turned out to be a Skitty, a very angry Skitty...

The little Skitty just turned into a giant lion as it roared at Sasha, but something about it didn't seem like it was trying to be mean, more like it was in pain, or something like that.

Pidgey went flying as Lindsey toppled over onto her face, flailing wildly and knocking the potion off somewhere, as well. Rolling over, Lindsey peered around, wondering what on earth was happening. A loud roar rent the night air, and Lindsey caught sight of the lion.
What might have been an "eep!" escaped her lips, but it was hard to hear over the noise. Lindsey stared at the huge beast; pidgey just cowered.

Skitty growled once more, eyes stuck on Lindsey. She pawed the ground, inching closer to the and waiting for any sign of her acception of the Normal type Pokemon's challenge to battle...

Skitty turned to Mew and, for once, talked instead of snarling. "Meow Meow, Meow! Me Meow!"(I feel like I need to, that's all! And no one will change that!)

Skitty looked at Mew, feeling slightly confused, but then she shifted her weight to face the Psychic type. She only held that position for a moment before disappearing into the air using a Faint Attack..

Skitty was knocked back by Mew's attack, but she quickly bounced back and fired a Shadow Ball at her foe.
