Ashlee walked along the path, his Torchic bouncing up and down beside him. Ash held the egg he had gotten from Sasha and Mew in his arms, tightly so it would keep somewhat warm. He really didn't know a thing about taking care of eggs, besides not breaking them and keeping them warm. The Torchic seemed a bit solemn, yet still playful and yearning for a battle. Ashlee chuckled a little upon watching the pokemon, and hoped for a pokemon to come out. If Haruno was this playful before fighting, he sort of wondered what she was like after.

Haruno hopped up and down heading for the sentret, she got real close and scratched it. Ashlee, still holding the egg, followed the Torchic, but didn't get to close.

Sentret cried out, startled at the sudden attack. The Rattata and Zigzagoon scampered away and into a bush, peeking through the foliage to watch the battle. Rubbing his head, Sentret got to his feet, and retaliated with a Quick Attack, ramming into Haruno.

Haruno shook herself and got up from the ground, she cawed with a "Tor!" And rammed another scratch at Sentret.

Sentret quickly rolled up in a ball using his Defense Curl, lowering the damage caused by Haruno's attack. He regained his normal form and ran forward for a Fury Swipes attack.

Haruno jumped up and landed in another direction before the Fury Swipes could hit her.
"Haruno, use Ember!" Ash said, making sure not to lose grip of the egg, they would try another approach. Long Distance. Haruno opened her beak and shot fire at the senret.

The Ember hit its mark as Sentret was scorched. He cried out, but bounced back with a Scratch attack.

Haruno whined at the scratch, falling back. "Tor!"
"Please, Haruno, get up! You can do it, you can beat 'im!" He said a little quieter. Haruno grunted, and staggered up, letting out a rage and fury of flames with a scorching Fire Spin.

Sentret's eyes widened as the Fire Spin came closer and closer until it finally engulfed him in its flames. The little guy was helpless as the attack spiraled around his body, and after it finally wore off, he was lying motionless on the ground..

Ashlee threw a pokeball, a little worried for the Sentret. Haruno, quite proud of herself, danced around Ash's legs once, then focused back on the pokeball.

The wild Sentret disappeared in a crimson light as the Pokeball fell to the ground with a thunk, steadily shaking as the circle in the center constantly blinked red, until it finally stopped moving, the Sentret tucked safely inside.

"Awsome!" Ashlee exlaimed, they were one step closer. He picked up the pokeball and stuck it into his backpack.
"Tor!" Haruno agreed, Ashlee walked on with Haruno at his side. The two were ready.

A Spearow was plucking at the ground for worms, a Taillow ruffled his wings in the branches of an overhead tree, and a Togepi was running away from a Tyrogue was was apparently trying to attack her...

"Haruno, ember!" He comanded. Haruno sapt an Ember attack at the Tyrogue, to get it away from the spearow.
