Jaya had somehow managed to get to Flare Town via taxi after taking a transit train via Pedro Do Gem. Now he was standing in front Professor Dogwood's lab, his eyes widened and obviously quite excited.
"Who~~~~a!!!" He yelled out, disturbing a few birds as well as Pidgeys in a near by tree. Jaya took out a letter from his pocket, re-reading the content. "You have been chosen to take care of two very special Pokemon for a short while. A representative will come to take them back when the time is right." A 'Z' insignia was present in the end of the letter.
Shrugging, the boy trotted over towards the lab, taking ever so many stops to poke at a few things in his euphoric excitement before poking his head into the doorway.
"Is anybody the~~~re?!" He called out, ignoring a few startled assistants near by as one tried to catch a falling test tube.

A young walked up to him, saying, "Well hello there. The Professor is busy right now, but I can help you. My name is Chloe, and please, come in." She moved out of the doorway and motioned for the boy to step inside the Lab.
(That 'Z' insignia doesn't stand for Zershia, does it?)

(-shrug- I only read the letter, I didn't send it.)
Jaya smiled cheerfully as he looked around the lab; it seemed so nice to live in! Curiosity got the best of him as he peered over another of the assistant's shoulder, making 'ooooh' noices as the screen flashed on his face. With agility befitting of his ancestors, he skipped over towards a section of the lab that had some vials on a table, nearly poking it before a bubble in one of them burst. Surprised, he ran over towards Chloe once, acting like a normal boy for once, before his stomach grumbled.
"Ne ne, you wouldn't happen to have something to eat do you, Miss?" He asked innocently, the tail behind him swinging around along with his mood.

Chloe looked behind her for a second before smiling. "Yes, we do. Come this way, to the kitchen." She started walking towards the right wall of the Lab's lobby, going in through a doorway. It led to a small room which had two doorways, one leading to another room and the other leading to a short hallway which ended up in the kitchen. It was VERY big, and VERY full of several refrigerators, long tables, counters, and all kinds of other contraptions.
"What would you like to eat?" She asked as she turned around to face Jaya.

The boy followed obediently; he could act normally enough for a few seconds if it was for the sake of food. When he arrived where they were however, excitement went and conquered himself, vanishing from behind the assistant to rummage through most of the refridgerators, coming back to her with a pile of assorted treats.
"Fu fufn't find fe feefing feese fo fyou?" He mumbled incoherently, a loaf of bread inside his mouth.

Chloe tilted her head to one side, unsure of what Jaya just said to her.
"Come again?" She asked, since he had asked a question. Or at least she thought he asked a question.

Jaya scowled, surely he wasn't that incoherent. Somehow managing to say 'one sec' (though it had sounded more like 'fuone fek'), he munched on the loaf of bread quickly until his mouth was free of food, sighing gladly before looking towards her again.
"You wouldn't me taking these do you?" he asked again, eyeing a drumstick that stuck on top.

"No, not at all. You can have that. The chef will have no problem making more food." Chloe spoke, confidently. "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

Needless to say Jaya was happy to hear that, sitting down on a nearby chair and placing the food on the table, eating them hungrily. When he was asked, he thought for a second before his hand slipped into his pocket and handed the letter he had been given.
"Oh yeah, I came here because I'm supposed to take two special Pokemon. I only know that one is supposed to have claws and the other looks like a flower. Is there anyone in the lab that has a name starting with a 'Z'?"
