Ashlee knocked on the pokemon lab door, today was the day, today was the day he'd recieve his pokemon. His /first/ pokemon. He had no idea why he was so nervous, maybe it was the fact that he'd be leaving his sister, or maybe it was that he thought he wouldn't be able to train a pokemon. He thought maybe it was that he would be able to withstand the journey. So many doubts filled his mind he didn't even know where to begin. For all eighteen years he'd asked his father for a pet, was this any different? He shifted his hand through his navy hair, angsty filled his gut and heart.
"Oh well," He sighed and returned his hands at his sides.

*There was a bright flash, and a Gardevoir and a Mew appeared next to Ashlee. The Mew was no normal Mew, but it was slightly smaller than normal ones, and bright blue. The Mew was clutching a Pokemon egg in his arms and looking curiously at Ashlee.*
Gardevoir: <Oh! Hello. I was meaning to have a small chat with professor Dogwood. Are you a new trainer?>

"Uh..." Ashlee was a bit startled, he knew Gradevior was phsycic, but this was cool! And a bit scary. "Y-Yes...
" He stuttered nervously. "Is the Professor not here?"

"Sure, I'd have no problem taking care of it!" Ashlee smiled, a little startled a legendary Mew was floating in front of him. "If I may ask, not that I'd change any thoughts if I knew, but do you know what kind of pokemon is inside?" He asked, a little curious. He did have no problem with the egg, he'd take care of it, raise the pokemon inside, and treat it with care, regardless of the species.

At that time, Professor Dogwood entered the lobby, walking down a long winding staircase from up above the second floor.
"Ah, I see we have a new Trainer!" He quickly stepped towards Ashlee, immediately recognizing Sasha and her Mew, despite Sasha's Gardevoir form. "Oh, hello there Sasha. Nice to see you." He greeted with a friendly smile. He then turned back to Ashlee and said, "So, you're here for your first Pokemon I take it?"

"Oh!" Ashlee said a bit startled, "I am. Your two pokemon here were just saying it might be an idea to give me an egg, but I'm glad your in Professor. Are you busy today?"

Mew: Uh, don't mind her, she just needs to chill. Sasha, it is an easy mistake to make. Don't get so worked up about it. About the egg, we have no idea what's inside it. We found it.

Professor Dogwood smiled and said, "I always have time for new Trainers, it's part of my job. Now what Pokemon would you like? And about that Egg, I'd gladly raise it if this boy-I'm sorry, what is your name?-doesn't want it, but if he does I'm sure he could take care of it." Professor Dogwood leaned over and whispered in Ashlee's ear, "Also, what Sasha means is that she doesn't belong to a Trainer because she is a Trainer herself, you see."

"A Pokemorph?" Ashlee asked a bit amazed, he bowed quickly in respect and raised his body again. "I am so sorry." He said, then turned to the Professor. "I am Ashlee Tagurah. And I would have no problem raising the egg." He thought for a minute or two. "As for my pokemon would it be a problem if I had a Torchic?"

Sasha: *to Dogwood* <You had to tell him, didn't you. I would have prefered to have stayed as simply a Pokemon to him...>
Mew: Yes, a Pokemorph. She doesn't really like people to know, at least when she is playing 'wild Pokemon' with me... Do you want the egg?

Professor Dogwood gave an apologetic smile. "Sorry Sasha, I didn't know you wanted to keep it a secret. Ashlee can take care of the Egg, I think it wilk be good for him. As for your Torchic, I'll be right back." The Professor then quickly walked to the back room, returning moments later with a Pokeball. He stopped at a desk near the back of the room, and picked up a few things. He walked up to Ashlee again, and handed him a Pokedex, 5 empty Pokeballs, and of course one Pokeball that held his new Torchic. "Here you are, Ashlee. You are now enabled to begin your Pokemon journey in the Motan Region."

"Thank you very much!" Ashlee said, he apologized again to Sasha and took the egg as well. He felt a sense of fear, yet proud to now have a pokemon, he left the lab with a smile and down the road.

"You're most welcome. I wish you well on your journey!" Professor Dogwood bidded as Ashlee walked out of his lab. "And don't worry about that, Sasha. You can count on that not happening again." He added with a wink.
