Tristianna walked into Professor Dogwood's large labratory, eager to begin her journey. Looking around the surrondings she grew even more excited.

Upon hearing someone, Professor Dogwood left what he was working on and stepped towards the new Trainer.
Tristianna faced him, and smiled replying, "Hi Professor! I'm here for my first Pokemon!" She could hardly contain her excitement.

"It's nice to meet you, Tristianna. Now, come with me and we'll select your first pokemon." He replied, then turned and led her into another room.
This room was a bit more professional looking. The previous looking almost like a lab from the 1800's, while this one was modern in appearance.
(Erm... exactly what pokemon do trainers who start have to choose from?)

(Well, there's usually a Fire Pokemon, Water Pokemon, and Grass Pokemon for each Region that are specifically starters only, but that's just for th show and games. In RPs and our own stuff we can be more fun. If you look at the part of the description of Prof. Dogwood's lab I added, it says on most occasions he can offer almost any Pokemon a Trainer would like.)
Tristianna followed him swiftly, enjoying the new look of this room.

Hiroshi entered Professor Dogwood's lab in an almost full sprint he was so excited. He stopped abruptly upon noticing many vials and tubes used for experiments and walked overto them curiously, distracted at the moment from his current task.

"I thought about it, and what I would really like to start with is a Vulpix!"
(Now to tell you how we're going to do this. Well, actually I'll do this part. When someone either receives or catches a new Pokemon, we're going to have to provide a little list that has the Pokemon's gender(you choose which), ability(if a Pokemon that someone wishes to start with has two abilities, you ask them which ability they would like their Pokemon to have), and attacks(unlike the game, here Pokemon have no limit as to how many attack they can have). As I said, I'll take care of that. Vulpix only have one ability, so you don't have to ask about that.)

A young lab assistant turned around and noticed the boy messing with the various lab tools and began to panic as Hiroshi grew more careless with the objects.
"Leave those alone! Don't touch anything!" He wailed, attracting the attention of the Professor in the other room.

Tristianna heard the commotion in the other room and asked to no one in particular, "What's that?" She backtracked a few steps, and saw the two. She walked a few steps farther and, looking at Hiroshi, asked, "Who are you?"

"What in the name of Pokemon...?" Said the professor, emerging from the other room to join the trio.
"Mr. Jamison, would you please explain why you just yelled at the top of your lungs to 'leave that alone?'" Said the professor, slightly annoyed.
"Uh...well...Hiroshi here was messing with the experiments and..." He replied shyly.
"I see. Please, do not touch ANYTHING unless you are given permission to do so." he said, looking at Hiroshi.
