Name: Jaya Hearthfist
Age: Looks around 14, real age not known.
Gender: Male
History: He was once but a regular genuine monkey, until one day Team Rocket had the smart idea of creating Pokemon from non-Pokemon animals. He was caught and sent away to the lab, where DNA splicing and stuff occurred. Much to the Rocket’s dismay, he turned out to be more human than Pokemon; it was assumed that he even had the ability to talk. The scientists were baffled, but were told to continue research and see if they could make a complete human. And they nearly did; he was turned nearly into a 14 year old boy, his tail being the only thing left to make disappear. Days before the completion however, a raid was made onto the hideout by Motan officials and he was saved and put into temporary care in Hoenn, atleast until he could get his bearings straight.
In Hoenn he was put into an orphanage, but he was short taken away from it to live in a noble’s house. There, the man declared that his name was to be Jaya; his surname was to be Hearthfist. For a long time he was taught how to use a staff, how to adapt to his surroundings, and soon after, taught about Pokemon. Amazingly, he didn’t age and remained in his 14 year old body. In his 10th year with the nobles however, a serial killer attacked and killed everyone there. When Jaya asked why he did it, the man answered that it was fun and it had satisfied his bloodlust. Bad answer, as Jaya snapped and pummeled the man to death with his staff. He ran away taking a special staff of his foster parent called Ralepalm, which was much different than most staffs. Since the incident he lived with one of the noble’s friends, until a letter came asking for him to return to Motan. He set off, arriving a few days later in Flare Town.
Staff: Ralepalm was a special crimson staff designed with a vague dragon inscription at the center, of his foster, being metal and having more uses than a toothpick. A button along the side will elongate the staff up to three meters, and a latch on each end suggested a Pokeball could be placed onto it. As of now he doesn’t have any Pokemon, so he uses that to fight against wild Pokemon; a poke in the ribs was usually enough.
Personality: For a 16 year old, he rarely acted that way. He could still be seen as a young child, thrown into the world with little knowledge. Jaya was naïve, inquisitive as well as trusting. He wouldn’t hesitate to eat something given by a stranger even though there was a chance that it could be poisoned, assuming that anyone who was nice enough to give him something to eat was worth trusting. Speaking of food, he LOVED them, wasting not one bit of his food, having a bit of a habit in licking his plate clean and could give cooks a bit of trouble with his tendency to eat much more than just one plate. An event in his history gave him a rather pacifistic nature, getting exceptionally angry if a person hurt somebody else for fun.
Appearance: Jaya had two crimson eyes, despite that it was unnerving, a twinkle in his eye and his cheerfulness can calm people down and accept his arrival. His hair was a much darker colour crimson, easily confused with dark brown hair if he were in the dark. The hair was tad bit on the spiky side, though only his front hair arced(sp) upwards, the other remained a tad floppy reaching till the top of his ears. (I had this hairstyle once.) Both of his eyes and hair are signs of his rather mysterious or unfortunate arrival. He had a white t-shirt underneath a brown coat given by his foster while his white-yellowish cotton pants were from the noble’s friend. A silver necklace was on his neck, a locket resembling the Hearthfist insignia (a vague fist holding a heart shape) which he kept as a birthday gift from the noble and wore brown shoes. The staff was placed behind him at all times, nearly overlapping the flailing tail on his behind.
Anomalies: Since he was of animal descent, his agility had matched that of a monkey, allowing to practically jump around if he had wanted to. Not only that, his senses allow him to tell how a Pokemon feels as well as locate them and other stuff far more easier than normal humans.
Pokemon: As of now he had none.
