Me like! ^^ The shading you've done is interesting. I always just shaded it in with a pencil and then blured it with my finger, but yours is mostly lines combined together to create a shadow-ish effect. Defenatley somethign new. I'm not sure about some of the DBZ jokes in them, since I don't watch DBZ. However, the pictures here rival that of the actual artists. I particuarly like the girl in the last image in the bottom-left corner. Nice work! ^^

-nod- Best one I know. I've seen a manga site that said once you're able to copy the a picture and it looks about the same, you should try to move on to the next stage. Any fanart pictures that you drew yourself or one of your own characters?

That's true. Drawing original characters would be a good step, I think. And I personally think it's more fun to draw than fan art. Plus, then you could showus exactly what your characters look like rather than describing them. But it's just an idea.

What are you talking about Shin? Is this a DBZ joke?

Well Chi-Chi(girl in the middle yelling at her husband Goku) is almost constantly screaming her head off at Goku because every time he comes home after finishing a fight he's running off to another one, and she REALLY gets mad when Goku wants to take Gohan(they're son, the little kid on the right side with his fingers together) to fight with him, because Chi-Chi wants him to stay home and do his schoolwork. Trunks(the one in the top left corner) is just facing an opponent which he gets rid of in like less than 5 seconds, but it was a cool, small picture of a character I never drew before so I put it on there, 17(the one in the top right corner) just met the heroes of the show(he's a villain at first, but later becomes a good guy no matter what anyone else will tell you!>.<), and since he's my favorite character I chose that picture also because it was small and cool and because I never drew him before.^^ Krillin(on the far left side with the big bump on his head) just got hit in the head when he went to Chi-Chi's house to do stuff I won't explain right now. She thought it was Gohan coming home so she threw the door open right into Krillin's head and the expression cracked me up so I couldn't help passing it up.^^ That pic of Gohan is taken from when Bulma was going to bring all of the Nameks(aliens from the planet Namek in DBZ) to her house; Gohan wanted to come too, because he was scared to go home because he forgot to do his homework and knew his mother would yell at him and stuff. Vegeta(one in the bottom right corner) was shocked because Cell(one of the biggest villains in the show) just killed his son(a future form of Trunks who came from the future to tell the current heroes about the enemies that were about to appear). And 18(the girl in the bottom left corner) felt somewhat confused because of the wish Krillin just made to remove the bomb that Dr. Gero put in the bodies of all of his androids(17 and 18 are(and were since 17 isn't an android anymore...-nudges DBNB fanfic-) androids - Dr. Gero kidnapped them off of the street and turned them into cyborgs as an experiment of his, hence why then have numbers for their names). Krillin loves 18 you see, so he wanted to do the next best thing since Shenron couldn't turn 17 and 18 into humans again.=) Of course, after reading all of this you might feel more confused. Oh, and what Shinji was doing was just making up things for each of the characters in that drawing.^_^ Those were funny.XD Don't know what 17's means though...

Anyhow, no, there are no good drawings I've done of anime characters or my own from my mind. I felt inspired so many times to do one of them, at least a face view, and I was about to start on one of my DBZ characters, but I just never got to it. I will try it out sometime though, no question about that.=)

I tried copying Sasuke's head from a card earlier, and I think I'm better off drawing my own characters, heh. ^_^"

These are really good, although I'm not sure what to say that hasn't already been said. The picture with Goku holding Gohan(?) would have been quite a feat. I know I couldn't ahve done it. Although the arm he's holding his son with looks as if it would appear too long had he not been drawn holding his son. Other than that everything looks very nice.

Ohhh, I see.=D 17 might've been blasted a lot but the only time he ever really got hurt was when Cell came along and made me very angry at him..¬¬" And about your trying to copy Sasuke; it takes practice, lots of practice. The more you try the better you will become.=D

Thanks for the comments Alora! And I can see what you mean about Goku's arm(and it is Gohan he's holding, at the tender age of 4 ^_^). Not really any way I could change that though.^^ But I will pay attention to the length of limbs and stuff in the future.=D

Meh, I like to actually draw something rather than copying. Even with the Sasuke head I drew the guidelines for a normal head first, then went on from there. I think my Naruto head looks like Goku with whiskers though.

Ooh, Arcy. ^_^ Still good when compared with most others. Do you copy with pen or pencil at first?

Yes, I know what you mean. It would be fun being able to draw something without having to look at something.

I copied with pencil first. The first two I quickly drew while looking at the TV on a paused shot of that Arcanine, and the third one was from the Blaine's Arcanine trading card. The lines just look darker because after I made copies of all of my drawings, I retraced the lines with just a pencil again, but after my dad scanned then the scanner made the lines much darker, making it appear to be pen.
